TidesMap is a free tide times website. This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use it. In short: there are no accounts, no tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data.

Who we are

What stays in your browser

Services your browser connects to

To show the site, your browser connects to the services below. Like any website, each of them receives your IP address and basic browser information when your browser requests something from it.

We do not use advertising networks, social media plugins or web fonts from third parties.

Cookies

TidesMap does not set cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights (UK and EU)

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. In practice the only personal data we may hold is an email you sent us. Our legal basis for handling it is our legitimate interest in replying to you. To use any of these rights, email hello@tidesmap.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.

Your rights (United States)

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@tidesmap.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

TidesMap is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If what the site does with data changes, for example if advertising is added, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
